Itinerary
Day 1 - Departure from Delhi to Manali (approx. 530 KM, 13 hours)
Report to the Volvo pickup point in the evening.
Board the bus and travel overnight in an AC Volvo from Delhi to Manali.
Tomorrow, you’ll wake up to the fresh lush greens and mesmerizing mountains of Himachal Pradesh.
Day 2 - Manali; Explore the stunning Manali
Places covered today: Hadimba Devi Temple and Manali Mall Road
Upon arrival in Manali, get transferred from the bus stand to the hotel.
Check-in to the hotels and gear up for exploring the beautiful town of Manali with your bikes.
You can head out to places like Hadimba Devi Temple, Manu Devi Temple, Vashisht Village, Manali Mall Road, and many more.
In the evening our local tour caption will brief you about the various safety measures, riding tips, and gear checkups.
The group would have an opportunity to get acquainted with the fellow riders at bonfire time.
Relish delicious dinner and have an overnight stay at the hotel in Manali.
Day 3 - Manali to Jispa; Ride across the Mighty Rohtang La (approx. 92 KM, 3 hours)
Places covered today: Rohtang Pass and Jispa
After relishing a delicious breakfast its time to onboard a thrilling Ladakh bike trip journey.
Ride across the first pass - the Rohtang Pass at 13,058 ft. as you continue the journey towards Jispa
You will be riding along the vicinity that the Chandra River soaking in the muddy terrains and natural settings.
Reach Jispa in the later evening check-in the Swiss Camps.
Relish a scrumptious dinner as you stargaze.

Day 4 - Jispa To Sarchu; Ride along crisscross roads of Baralacha La (approx. 80 KM, 5 hours)
Places covered today: Suraj Tal, Deepak Tal, Baralacha Pass and Sarchu
Wake up to the astonishing views of Jispa Town and have a delicious breakfast.
Gear up for the day and start the journey towards Sarchu.
En-route Sarchu visit Suraj Tal and Deepak Tal - two divine lakes surrounded by breathtaking valleys and splendid mountains.
You will also cross the famous Baralacha Pass located at 16,616 ft. which connects Lahaul district in Himachal Pradesh to Ladakh.
Upon arrival, you would settle down in the campsite taking in the beauty of the starting point in Ladakh.
Relish delightful dinner around the bonfire.

Day 5 - Sarchu to Leh; Cross three mighty passes - Tanglang La, Naki La, and Lachung La (approx. 250 km, 10 hours)
Places covered today: Tanglang La, Naki La, Lachung La, Moore Plains and Gata Loops.
Get geared up for an action-packed day today as you will start the ride towards Leh.
Post an appetizing breakfast get on your bikes and begin the journey.
The route will grant mesmerizing views of the landscape of this beautiful cold desert which leaves one spellbound.
Cross the three legendary passes - Tanglang La (17,480 ft.), Naki La (15,647 ft), and Lachung La (16,616 ft).
You shall be also riding across the famous Moore Plains and Gata Loops - a series of 21 hairpin bends.
Upon arrival in Leh, you settle down in the hotel and the evening is for leisure and to explore the Leh Mall Road.
Have a delightful dinner as you laze around the bonfire with your bike-mates.

Day 6 - Explore Leh and Nearby
Places covered today: Thiksey Monastery, Shey Monastery and Sankar Monastery.
Enjoy Full day tour of leh and its surrounding.

Day 7 - Leh to Nubra Valley; Ride to highest motorable pass - Khardung La (approx 160 KM; 5 hrs)
Places covered today: Khardung La, Hunder White Sand Dunes, and Deskit Monastery.
Brace yourself for the ultimate adventure of your life and ride on the highest motorable road in the world - Khardung La.
Visit the white sand dunes in Hunder and enjoy a ride of one of its kind the double-humped camel.
Check-in at your Swiss camp and if time permits, visit Deskit monastery in the evening.
Savour a delicious dinner accompanied by a discussion session around the bonfire.
Overnight in Nubra Valley camps under the starlit sky.
Day 8 - Nubra to Leh ; Admire views of colour-changing Pangong Lake (approx. 170 KM; 8 hrs)
Places covered today: Khardung La
This morning after a lovely breakfast ride back to Leh.
Enjoy This evening at your own pace in leh city center.

Day 9 - Leh to Pangong; Admire views of colour-changing Pangong Lake (approx. 280 KM; 8-9 hrs)
Places covered today: Hemis Monastery Biggest in leh ladakh and Pangong Lake
This morning after a lovely breakfast ride to Pangong Lake on the Indo-China border.
The route takes the visitor past the striking villages of the Indus valley by the side valley of Chemrey and Hemis Monastery.
Relish hot-piping dinner around the bonfire and stargaze as you rest in your camps.
Overnight in Pangong Lake camps under the starlit sky.
Day 10 - Pangong Tso to Hanle; Stargaze from the world's highest observatory (approx.290 KM, 8 hrs)
Places covered: Hanle Village, Rezang-La, Indian Astronomical Observatory
After breakfast, start the ride to the remote location of Hanle that inhabits a mere 200 families.
The village has recently been opened for tourists and travellers.
For the first 30 KM, you would ride along the blue waters of the Pangong Tso.
The journey is heaven for an adventure junkie with all the offroading journey that would take us through Maan, Merak, and Chushul.
Cross the Rezang-La, 1962 Indo-China War Memorial to paying homage to the Martyrs and continue the ride.
Also, visit the world's second-largest observatory - Indian Astronomical Observatory.
The night sky view in Hanle seems almost unreal as one can see the galaxy with naked eyes.
This sums up the day after a hearty meal.

Day 11 - Hanle To Tso Moriri, Admire the crystal clear lake - Tso Moriri (approx. 160 KM, 5-6 hours)
Places covered today: Puga Sumdo and Tso Moriri
Post breakfast, you will retrace the ride till Puga Sumdo which grants beautiful views of the hot water springs there, making one realize the untapped beauty of mother nature.
And continue the journey towards Tso Moriri - the lake which has sprawling crystal clear waters.
See the landscapes change throughout the ride before reaching the lake.

Day 12 - Tso Moriri to Sarchu; Ride the thrilling Gata Loops with 21 hairpin bends (approx. 220 KM, 10 hours)
Places covered today: Naki La, Lachung La, Moore Plains, Gata Loops, Tso Kar and Sarchu
With the energy revamped and the heart ready to take in more, begin your day amidst the beautiful mountains and fill up on breakfast.
The journey from Tsomoriri to Sarchu will challenge us, amaze us, and leave us asking for more.
Visit the Tso Kar lake bordered by lofty mountains that are home to the elusive snow leopard.
Cross Naki la (15,647 ft), and Lachung la (16,616 ft) and ride across the famous More Plains and Gata Loops to reach Sarchu.
Savour delicious dinner at your campsite in Sarchu.

Day 13 - Sarchu to Manali; Cross the mighty Rohtang La once again (approx. 225 KM, 7 hours)
Begin the day to head towards Manali after an early breakfast, to get ready for the last day of this memorable bike trip.
Enjoying every bit of it, we once again ride across the beautiful Rohtang La.
Conclude your trip to Manali where you will drop off your bikes at the hotel and venture out to visit the local places and cafes.

Day 14 - Departure for Delhi
After savouring the last breakfast of your bike trip check out of the hotel at 10:00 am

Leave for Delhi in the evening via an overnight Volvo bus, taking with us memories worth a lifetime and friendships to cherish forever!

For safety purposes, a biking tour is not recommended for women who are pregnant & Children who are having age below 18 years, anyone that has had major surgery, or has a broken leg/arm, has chronic back or neck pains, etc.

Climatic conditions in the high altitudes vary from the plains; it is advisable that you take adequate time to get acclimatized to high altitudes.

Consult a physician before undertaking the tour. Carry basic medications and a first-aid kit during the tour.

It is recommended to carry enough warm clothes and the right kind of shoes for the tour. The advisable baggage weight is 12 kg as you might have to carry the luggage to the backup vehicle, the accommodation, etc.

Rates may fluctuate with any change in services/hotels. The difference in the cost shall be borne by the client in case of any amendment in the package due to an increase in the number of guests, hotel change, etc., before the beginning of the trip.

The hotels are subject to their availability. In case they are not available, the travellers will be accommodated in a property of similar standard.

Vedas reserves the right to rearrange the itinerary due to any kind of disturbance that occurred (i.e weather condition, political condition or any others) without changing the total number of days and without compromising any service.

Liability for change in itinerary due to reasons beyond our control like a change in flight and train schedule, cancellation of flights/trains, political disturbances, natural phenomenon, roadblocks, etc. will not be accommodated in the package cost. No bill will be reimbursed for any missed service/facility.

Because of any reason natural or personal, if the tour or a particular activity is not completed, no refund will be processed.

Pay heed to the tour guides and instructors in order to enjoy a safe and sound tour.

All entry tickets for stupas, monasteries, sightseeing, state and entry fees, monument entrances, camera charges, permits, etc. are not a part of the package.

GST is applicable to the package cost.

Any personal expenses or items of personal nature will not be included in the package. Any meals or transfers not mentioned in the itinerary are to be considered an exclusion in the deal. Any kind of drink (alcoholic, aerated, or mineral water) is not included in the package cost.

Avoid using plastic bags and maintain the ecological balance of the destinations. Travellers littering may be fined.

Usage of the swimming pool at any accommodation is strictly according to government guidelines.

Carry dry snacks/food, granola bars, etc. from home. Carry a regular and another insulated water bottle with you, so that you can refill.

Any breakage or damage of any items in the resort will be charged at actuals.

Carry enough cash as the number of ATMs in high-altitude regions are comparatively less and there are long queues at times.

Please note that BSNL and Airtel Postpaid mobile connections are operational and roaming Prepaid SIMs are non-functional in Ladakh.

We work with local guides and leaders who have the expertise of the region. They are fluent in Hindi and Ladakhi and at times even English.

All the travellers are requested to carry a copy of their medical certificate (if any) with them.

Optional activities mentioned in the itinerary are not actually included in the package cost.

Transportation during the trip would be in non AC & non-heater vehicles. Please wear clothes according to the weather while travelling.

If in case any traveller wants to or decides to leave the trip in the middle, all the expenses from that point onwards will be borne by the traveller. Neither the operator nor Vedas will be held responsible for such decisions or for any refund.

ID proof is mandatory for each individual guest at the time of booking, and also upon arrival. PAN card will not be considered as valid address proof.

Always carry your driver's license, wear helmets and riding gear, etc., while riding a bike.

Give room to passers and follow all road and State rules strictly.

Do not park your bike anywhere on the way. Any damage that occurred due to negligence will be borne by the rider.

Check your bikes properly before every day's ride and keep the tour guide informed of the same.

Do not consume alcohol or any other intoxicants during the rides.
-
Any fuel for the bikes, any charges for spares parts and damage caused to the bikes, etc. will be charged at extra.

Any charges for video cameras, still cameras, etc. will be an additional cost.

During a bike trip, in case the roads are blocked due to landslides or a reason that is beyond control, Vedas will rearrange the itinerary for the travellers in real-time, however, the cost of alternative accommodation will be borne by the customer as the hotels pre-booked execute their cancellation policies and are nonrefundable.

Ladakh is a difficult terrain in terms of roads. You are advised to follow the guidelines given by the trip leader.

In case a rider leaves the bike in the middle of the trip, charges for re-transporting the bike to the destination will be borne by the rider.

While riding on a bike, it is advised to carry luggage in rucksacks/backpacks instead of trolleys or suitcases as they generally get damaged due to driving on tough terrains.

There will be a refundable security deposit per bike depending on the variant selected. Please ensure you pay that in advance and carry the receipt with you at all times to get a refund later.

Only a backpack/ rucksack is allowed. You can carry up to 12 kg of luggage (per person). There will be a charge of INR 1000 per/kg for any luggage exceeding the limit.

Any type of travel Insurance is not included in above costing.

Cancellation Policy:

If cancellations are made 15 days before the start date of the trip, 25% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

If cancellations are made 07-14 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

If cancellations are made within 0-6 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain trips or activities may get cancelled. In such cases operator will try their best to provide an alternate feasible. However a cash refund will not be applicable for the same.
